ICFE 2018 Highlights: A Special Focus on Graduate Scholars
The 5th International Conference on Finance and Economics ICFE 2018 was organized at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) on the morning of 20 September 2018.
This year's conference was attended by scientists from USA, Taiwan, New Zealand, Czech Republic, Hungary, Australia, UK, Malaysia, UAE and Vietnam. Among 74 scientific papers submitted to the conference, 37 were accepted for publication in the proceedings and 21 were selected for reporting at the conference. The main program took place in 2 days with 7 sessions of professional researchers; along with a session for graduate students, with the participation of 20 international students and 10 TDTU students. This was a great opportunity for students to exchange, learn from each other and get acquainted with international publishing.
A standout feature of the International Conference on Finance and Economics (ICFE) 2018, compared to its 2016 iteration, was the organizing committee's initiative to host a special session exclusively for domestic and international graduate students. Moreover, the conference saw the release of a dedicated proceedings volume that published research works by graduate scholars, encompassing 10 scientific articles, all of which were presented by the authors during the conference.
