Parents meeting of High-quality program students Faculty of Accounting – Ton Duc Thang University

 In order to create cohesion and coordination in student education between the University and Family, the Faculty of Accounting - Ton Duc Thang University organized "Parents Meeting of High-Quality Program Class 2027" at 1:30 p.m., October 7, 2023 at Room A101, Tan Phong Campus.

The meeting welcomed distinguished guests from the Institute for International Cooperation, Research and Training (Increti); a representative from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW); a representative from the University of the West of England (UWE, Bristol).

In particular, the Faculty of Accounting was honored to welcome nearly 70 parents of high-quality students Class 2027.

During the meeting, Dr. Le Thi My Hanh – Dean of the Faculty of Accounting, Dr. Nguyen Duy Suu - Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Accounting, lecturers, and staff from the Faculty of Accounting shared information about the training program, training systems, employment situation of students after graduation and addressed topics that the Faculty of Accounting and their families are interested in doing to accompany students in completing the training program.

At the bachelor level, the Faculty of Accounting currently has three high-quality training programs, including the high-quality program in Accounting, the International Accounting program and 3+1 joint training program.

Regarding the ICAEW representative's presentation, parents highly appreciated the integrated high-quality training program. The Faculty of Accounting has collaborated with partners to provide "privileges” to TDTU accountancy students. Specifically, students studying the integrated CFAB certificate program (integrated in the Faculty's training program) need only pass 2 subjects to qualify for interviews with ICAEW's major partners in the fields of Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Tax, such as Big 4, BDO, Mazars,...

According to BDO's 2023 International Department recruitment results (only for CFAB students), out of 12 CFAB students, there are 4 students from TDTU.

In addition to the above integrated training program, the 3+1 joint training program is also a special topic to parents, who have many questions. Parents received valuable information from UWE, who is the partner with Ton Duc Thang University, a prestigious global institution in economics. This program offers numerous incentives and support for students from Ton Duc Thang University. Students enrolled in this program will be awarded dual degrees, one "bachelor of accounting" degree from Ton Duc Thang University and one "bachelor's degree of finance and accounting" from UWE, Bristol. This is an outstanding advantage of this joint training program, helping students become more competitive in the labor market.

During the discussion, Dr. Le Thi My Hanh appreciated the companionship and trust of international partners and parents. She emphasized the importance of cooperation between the University and parents to support and encourage students in studying and practicing at University.

At the end of the meeting, the parents expressed their joy and excitement when participating in the meeting and listening to the enthusiastic sharing from the Faculty Leaders and staff of the Faculty of Accounting, Ton Duc Thang University, as well as experience and achievements of the Faculty of Accounting as well as Ton Duc Thang University in recent time.

The meeting strengthened the relationship between the University (Faculty of Accounting), Families and Students, contributing to the successful training of future "Global Citizens".
