ICAEW VietNam Celebrating Excellece Award Ceremory 2023

On Wednesday evening, 25 October 2023, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) held a ceremony to award the Chartered Accountant (ICAEW ACA), International Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (ICAEW CFAB), the title of Business and Finance Professional (ICAEW Business and Finance Professional - BFP) for members and students in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Awarding Ceremony had the participation of the British Business Association (BritCham), business representatives from Accounting and Auditing service companies such as PWC, BDO, Deloitte,... and lecturer representatives from Universities, TDTU, UEH, UEL, etc.

This is the 6th awarding ceremony organized by ICAEW in Vietnam. During the award event, there were 6 new members officially joining the global Chartered Accountants network. At the same time, the ceremony welcomed 13 students who completed the program and received ICAEW CFAB Certificates in Ho Chi Minh City, of which the Faculty of Accounting at Ton Duc Thang University had 5 students who officially became ICAEW CFABers.

Last but not least, during the event, ICAEW awarded BFP international professional status to 6 experts in Vietnam. Currently, Vietnam only has 30 people to receive this professional title.
