ICAEW Vietnam Business Challenge 2022

The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) is the oldest international professional accountancy organization founded in 1880 in the United Kingdom under the patronage of Victoria Queen. Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) and ICAEW signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the first time in 2016 and re-signed for the second time in 2019.

Up to now, the two sides have implemented many strategic cooperation activities such as: integrating the ICAEW CFAB Professional Certificate into the high-quality Bachelor of Accounting education program; organizing for TDTU students to exchange summer semesters in Southeast Asian financial centers; introducing students to practice in accounting, auditing, tax consulting, financial consulting, etc. at businesses in ICAEW's network.

Especially in this cooperation chain, there is an annual outstanding activity that creates a professional and useful playground in the academic field, which is the ICAEW VN Business Challenge.

ICAEW VN Business Challenge 2022 has witnessed the talent of the AnB team from the Faculty of Accounting - Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU). In 60 minutes, the students had to deal with a complex business case of 38 pages in length, present in only 5 minutes, and solve the questions of the Jury in 2 minutes entirely in English. To do that, the students constantly practice skills and improve knowledge as well as methods of solving business situations with ICAEW Chartered Accountants.

Through each exam season, ICAEW Vietnam always improves the exam format as well as provides more opportunities to equip candidates with more knowledge and skills with the hope that the competition will be really a useful experience. provide solid stepping stones for the future career path of young people. The ICAEW Vietnam Business Challenge has received great support from the British Embassy, ​​the British Consulate-General, and the British Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (BritCham) over the years.

That further affirms the high professionalism of the competition, and at the same time carries the mission of giving opportunities to students who are passionate about Accounting, Auditing, Finance, and Business with practical experiences and professional knowledge. Not only in books, helping students step by step conquer the path of becoming Chartered Accountants in the future.
