Ton Duc Thang University Accompanies Students at the 2026 Admissions and Career Counseling Fair in Ho Chi Minh City
On March 8, 2026, the 2026 Admissions and Career Counseling Fair, organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training, took place simultaneously in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. At the Ho Chi Minh City event, the booth of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) attracted thousands of prospective students, high school pupils, and parents from various provinces who came to explore information about this year’s admissions.

At the fair, TDTU’s advisory team—comprising lecturers and staff from its faculties, institutes, and the Khanh Hoa Branch—directly addressed questions from attendees regarding admission methods, academic programs, learning environment, international exchange opportunities, as well as tuition fees and scholarship policies.
One of the highlights at the booth was a series of hands-on “career experience” activities. Students had the opportunity to participate in games and challenges tailored to different fields, such as “The Talking Pill” by the Faculty of Pharmacy, knowledge challenges like “Understanding Finance” and “Numbers That Speak,” as well as experiencing golf as a sport. These activities provided students with more practical insights into academic disciplines before making decisions about their future.
In 2026, Ton Duc Thang University offers 51 majors in standard programs, 20 in advanced programs, 11 undergraduate programs taught in English, 10 English-language foundation programs, 16 majors at the Khanh Hoa Branch, 15 international joint programs, and 14 international foundation-linked programs. The university plans to apply three admission methods: holistic admission based on high school graduation exam results combined with personal competencies; admission based on the Ho Chi Minh City National University’s competency assessment test; and direct admission in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

In addition, TDTU’s international joint programs with universities in Australia, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, France, and New Zealand continue to provide students with opportunities to study in an international environment and obtain degrees from overseas partner institutions.
To support and encourage learners, in 2026 the university allocates more than VND 95 billion for scholarships, including Valedictorian Scholarships, Talent Scholarships, and Encouragement Scholarships, along with various priority policies for students from high schools that have established partnerships with TDTU.
With thorough preparation and a wealth of useful admissions information, TDTU’s booth became a popular destination for many students at the fair, helping them make informed decisions about their academic paths and future careers.
