The presence of highly experienced industry professionals further affirmed the academic quality and reputation of the program.

From the Faculty of Accounting, attendees included Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong, M.Acc., – Assistant to the Dean, faculty members, and more than 150 students.
Opening the forum, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong, M.Acc., emphasized the growing importance of Information Systems Auditing in the digital era. She also expressed appreciation for the continued support and collaboration of enterprises in the Faculty’s business forums, as well as other professional and academic activities.
During the forum, students had the opportunity to attend a presentation by Mr. Chau Thanh Tai on the topic of “Career Orientation in Information Systems Auditing.” The second presentation, delivered by Mr. Tran Van Dang, focused on “Information Technology Auditing at Deloitte Vietnam.”
Through the forum, students gained valuable insights into emerging trends in information systems auditing, technology auditing, and cybersecurity amid the rapid pace of digital transformation. The speakers shared numerous real-world cases related to technology risks, digital fraud, system access controls, data auditing, and the evolving competencies required of modern auditors in digitalized business environments.
Particularly, practical stories involving cybersecurity incidents, ERP system controls, data governance, and digital footprints in fraud investigations helped students better understand the increasingly important role of Information System Auditors in modern enterprises. Rather than focusing solely on traditional accounting documents and financial statements, today’s auditors are expected to understand systems, data, technology operations, and even human-related risks within digital environments.
Beyond its academic significance, the forum also served as an important bridge between the university and the business community, helping narrow the gap between theory and professional practice. Through direct interaction with experts from leading enterprises and professional organizations, students gained clearer orientation regarding the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to adapt to the future labor market.
The forum concluded with lively discussions and interactions between students and speakers, reflecting the growing interest of younger generations in the fields of Information Systems Auditing and technology auditing — two highly promising career paths in the digital era.
With its remarkable outcomes, the program not only promoted practice-oriented learning but also created valuable networking and career development opportunities for students of the Faculty of Accounting in the years ahead.
