Faculty of Accounting Welcomes Professor Wen-Min Lu, Vice President of Chinese Culture University, Taiwan, for Academic Sharing and Promotion of International Collaboration

To strengthen international academic exchange and expand opportunities for research and training collaboration, the Faculty of Accounting had the honor of welcoming Professor Wen-Min Lu, Vice President of Chinese Culture University, Taiwan (PCCU), together with Ph.D. holders and doctoral candidates who have studied and are currently studying at PCCU, to visit and work with the Faculty on April 3, 2026.

The visit of Professor Wen-Min Lu not only served as an opportunity to enhance cooperative relationships between the parties but also contributed to promoting academic and scientific research activities in the field of Socio-Economics in general and Accounting in particular.

During the academic exchange session, Professor Wen-Min Lu and his colleagues delivered a seminar titled: “Sharing research experience, approaches to scientific data exploitation, and selecting appropriate journals in the field of Socio-Economics.”

The seminar attracted a large number of lecturers and staff of Ton Duc Thang University, along with more than 100 doctoral candidates, graduate students, and students from the Faculty of Accounting participating both offline and online.

The discussion session was lively, reflecting the strong interest of participants in scientific research activities. The presentations were not only informative but also created significant motivation for doctoral candidates, graduate students, and students in their research endeavors.

The Faculty of Accounting was pleased to introduce the University’s facilities to Professor Wen-Min Lu and his delegation. Discussions focused on developing collaborative research programs (both inbound and outbound), building strong research groups, and promoting academic exchanges among lecturers and doctoral candidates.

The visit and working session of Professor Wen-Min Lu and his colleagues—Ph.D. holders and doctoral candidates from PCCU—concluded successfully, opening up many promising opportunities for practical collaboration in the future. This activity also represents an important effort by the Faculty of Accounting to internationalize education, enhance research and teaching quality, and move toward deeper integration with the international academic community.
