The Faculty of Accounting successfully organized the third thematic training session on Quantitative Methods and Stata Practice

On the afternoon of January 23, 2026, at Room B409, the Faculty of Accounting successfully held the third thematic training session in its series of activities guiding students in conducting Student Scientific Research (SSR) for the 2025–2026 academic year.

The training session took place from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, with the participation of many students who are currently conducting or preparing to implement scientific research projects. The session was directly delivered by M.A. Duong Hien Khanh, with the topic: “Quantitative Methods and STATA Practice in Scientific Research.”

During the program, the lecturer systematized core knowledge of quantitative research methods, from building research models and identifying variables to data processing and analysis procedures. In particular, the hands-on practice using STATA software enabled students to directly engage with a widely used data analysis tool in the fields of economics, finance, and accounting.

Beyond theoretical content, the training session also provided opportunities for students to discuss and raise questions related to their specific research topics. Practical cases were analyzed and clarified, helping students better understand how to apply quantitative methods to their studies while minimizing common errors in data processing.

The series of SSR thematic training sessions organized by the Faculty of Accounting is a practical initiative aimed at enhancing the quality of student scientific research, contributing to the development of a professional, proactive, and internationally integrated academic environment.

The success of the third training session further affirms the proactive support and commitment of the Faculty of Accounting’s academic staff in guiding and developing students’ research capabilities during the 2025–2026 academic year.
