Teaching experience exchange with foreign experts

On the morning October 8th, 2014, Faculty of Accounting coordinated with International Cooperation, Research & Training Institute (INCRETI) and ACCA Vietnam, held an academic exchanges meeting to share teaching experience between ACCA experts and collective of lecturers, students of Faculty of Accounting, Ton Duc Thang University.

Subject: "Exchange of experience and teaching methods of courses under international accounting standards IAS / IFRS".

Mr. YAP KOK WAH - Malaysian/Singaporean expert had an sharing speech about teaching experience of ACCA subjects specifically such as: teaching planning, setting up goals, creating the outline of detailed content, how to discuss and evaluate student...that helped lecturers of Faculty to have opportunity to collate their own teaching experience and draw new ideas in teaching mission and discovered the solutions to improve teaching quality of accounting courses in general and accounting-financial courses in particular.

In the end of sharing experience discussion, Mrs. Le Thi My Hanh - Dean of Faculty of Accounting gifted thankful flowers and invited Mr. YAP KOK WAH to become a frequent Guest Speaker in the sessions of sharing experience and teaching method, professional problems for lecturers and students of Faculty. respond to the invitation of Ms. Hanh, Mr. YAP KOK WAH kindly agreed and promised more cooperation opportunities between him, ACCA Vietnam and Faculty of Accounting.

The meeting was taken place successfully and brought many significant cooperation between related parties. At the same time, it also created new stature in academic exchange environment for lecturers and students of Faculty.
