The Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) is believed to bring both tremendous opportunities and certain challenges. The labor market is expected to undergo major transformations as technology becomes more widely integrated into industries, with automation replacing manual labor and robots substituting for humans. On the morning of Thursday, May 27, 2022, the Faculty of Accounting at Ton Duc Thang University held Thesis Defense Committees for the May 2022 session for students of the High-Quality Program.

On 15/02/2022, the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings announced the 2022 rankings for young universities worldwide. Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) was ranked 98th out of 790 universities included in the list.
THE Young University Rankings evaluate universities globally that are 50 years old or younger and have been published by THE since 2012. This is the first time TDTU has entered this ranking.
