The Faculty’s Journal Club aims to promote the sharing of research knowledge through faculty-led discussions of high-quality academic papers published in ISI/Scopus-ranked journals. Such activities help strengthen research capacity, encourage knowledge exchange, and foster a strong research community within the Faculty of Accounting and the University as a whole.

The session on March 25 featured the paper “Effects of Environmental Strategy, Environmental Uncertainty, and Top Management’s Commitment on Corporate Environmental Performance: The Role of Environmental Management Accounting.” The study focuses on strategies to improve environmental performance through the application of environmental management accounting—an increasingly relevant topic as both Vietnam and the world prioritize environmental sustainability.

Presented by Dr. Tran Thi Thu, the seminar highlighted key contributions of the research, helping faculty members identify potential research gaps related to accounting. Dr. Thu also introduced several advanced research techniques such as PLS-SEM and Bibliometric analysis, which can enhance research quality and provide valuable methodological insights for future studies.
