Faculty of Accounting Parent Meeting 2025 – Strengthening the Connection between University, Family, and Students
On May 4, 2025, the Faculty of Accounting at Ton Duc Thang University successfully organized the annual Parent–Student Meeting for the Advanced Programs, the 100% English Program, and the International Joint Programs. The event was held in a warm yet professional atmosphere, creating an occasion of both formality and meaningful connection.
The meeting served as more than just an information-sharing session. It provided a platform for parents to engage directly with the University and the Faculty, while reinforcing the partnership among three key stakeholders: the Faculty, the University, and the Family. This collaboration aims to support, guide, and ensure the comprehensive development of students throughout their academic journey.
At the opening, parents were introduced to the milestones in the development of Ton Duc Thang University – a dynamic, modern, and pioneering institution in applied education and international integration. The Faculty of Accounting also presented its outstanding academic offerings, including the 4+1 Dual Degree Program and the Global Citizen short-term overseas study program.
The meeting was honored by the presence of representatives from the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol, UK) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). These prestigious partners provided valuable insights into international study opportunities, professional certifications, and global career pathways available to Accounting students.
A highlight of the program was the interactive Q&A session, where parents engaged directly with lecturers. Their questions were addressed in detail, offering greater clarity regarding students’ academic progress, training, and career prospects at TDTU.
Beyond its role as an informational event, the Parent Meeting was a true “connection day.” Parents had the opportunity to witness their children’s growth and confidence; students felt the strong support and care from both family and faculty; and the Faculty of Accounting reaffirmed its role as a leader in fostering a humanistic, modern, and globally-oriented academic environment.
The Faculty of Accounting extends its sincere appreciation to all parents for their valued participation. We look forward to continuing this meaningful collaboration with parents and students as we work together toward knowledge, professional success, and a bright future.
