Spreading the Passion for Knowledge – Summary Conference and Launch of the Student Scientific Research Movement, Faculty of Accounting, Academic Year 2025–2026
📅 On October 9, 2025, the Faculty of Accounting, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), successfully organized the Summary Conference and Launch of the Student Scientific Research Movement for the academic year 2025–2026. The event was not only an opportunity to reflect on a fruitful year of academic endeavors but also a starting point for new ideas — a place where the passion for knowledge is inspired and spread.
🎙 Dr. Nguyễn Duy Sữu, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Accounting, delivered an inspiring opening speech, emphasizing: “Scientific research is not merely an academic task but a journey of exploring the unknown — a way for each student to write their own story of knowledge.”
🏆 The conference summarized the research activities of the 2024–2025 academic year and honored outstanding student groups with creative projects of high practical value that made a strong impression at the university-level scientific conferences. Two groups were also selected to participate in the Eureka Award nomination round. According to Decision No. 2765/QĐ-TĐT dated August 13, 2025, issued by the President of Ton Duc Thang University on the results of student research project evaluations for the 2024–2025 academic year, a total of 47 official participants and 26 alternate participants took part. Among them, 16 groups successfully passed the faculty-level assessment, and 10 groups received university-level awards, including 1 First Prize, 3 Second Prizes, 2 Third Prizes, and 4 Consolation Prizes. These remarkable achievements are a testament to the students’ continuous pursuit of knowledge and their aspiration to conquer new horizons of learning and research in the Faculty of Accounting.
💡 Following the review session, Dr. Nguyễn Duy Sữu delivered a specialized talk titled “Scientific Research Methods for Students”, offering valuable insights, creative approaches, and clear orientations for those aspiring to pursue research projects.
In addition, Ms. Bùi Thị Bích Liên, M.A., presented detailed guidelines and timelines for registering scientific research topics for the academic year 2025–2026, enabling students to take proactive steps in planning their research journey.
🌟 The conference concluded, yet its inspiration continues to resonate — a motivation and belief that each TDTU student will become a pioneer in the journey of knowledge creation, contributing to the proud academic tradition of the Faculty of Accounting at Ton Duc Thang University.
