📰 Student Scientific Research Proposal Evaluation Council – Faculty of Accounting, Academic Year 2025–2026
On October 31, 2025, the Faculty of Accounting at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) successfully organized the Faculty-level Evaluation Council for Student Scientific Research (NCKHSV). The event recorded active and serious participation from a large number of students, reaffirming the pioneering role of scientific research activities in the Faculty’s high-quality training strategy.
A total of 41 students from the Faculty of Accounting presented their research proposals. These proposals were organized into 14 research groups—an impressive number that reflects students’ deep interest in academic and professional issues. Notably, the participants included 13 groups from the Tan Hung Campus (Ho Chi Minh City) and 1 outstanding group from the Khanh Hoa Campus, demonstrating the consistency and well-rounded development of scientific research activities across TDTU’s campuses.
This year’s research proposals focus on addressing current and highly applicable issues in the fields of Accounting, Auditing, and Finance, particularly within the context of digital transformation and international integration. The quality of the proposals showcased students’ abilities in independent research, professional data analysis, and scientific critical thinking.
The Evaluation Council, consisting of experienced experts and lecturers in Accounting, Auditing, and Finance, conducted detailed, objective, and fair assessments for each proposal. The evaluation criteria were applied rigorously, including scientific relevance, originality, research methodology, practical feasibility, and alignment with the development orientation of the discipline and the University.
The final results were highly positive and encouraging: all 14 participating groups were recommended by the Faculty of Accounting to continue developing their Student Scientific Research reports. This recognition reflects the students’ dedicated efforts and intellectual investment, as well as the thoughtful and professional guidance provided by their academic advisors.
The Faculty’s decision to recommend 100% of the proposals highlights the feasibility and initial quality of the research ideas. This serves as an important stepping stone for the next stage—awaiting official approval and funding from the University.
Approval at the Faculty level paves the way for research groups to revise and refine their proposals based on the Council’s feedback in preparation for the University-level evaluation. Participating students are advised to promptly complete the required documents to meet the academic and administrative requirements.
The Student Scientific Research Proposal Evaluation event is not only an academic procedure but also a strong motivation that promotes scientific research activities within the Faculty of Accounting. The Faculty believes that the recommended research groups will maximize their potential, implement their projects effectively, and deliver high-quality scientific outputs, thereby contributing to enhancing the academic reputation of both the Faculty and Ton Duc Thang University.
