Faculty of Accounting Honors Six Students for Winning Third Prize at the Ministry-Level Science and Technology Awards

The Faculty of Accounting at Ton Duc Thang University is proud to announce the outstanding achievement of six students who were awarded Third Prize at the 2024 Science and Technology Awards for Students in Higher Education Institutions. This is a prestigious award organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, aiming to recognize valuable student research projects.

Two outstanding research topics were honored:

  • Project 1: "The Impact of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on Financial Performance (FP) of Listed Companies in Vietnam: The Mediating Role of Intellectual Capital" Conducted by the student group: Võ Thị Phương Thảo (Student ID: 22000413), Văn Thị Ngọc Trâm (Student ID: 220H0466), and Deborah Agbaraoluwa Esho (Student ID: 219K0040).

  • Project 2: "The Impact of Board Characteristics on the Performance of Intellectual Capital: Evidence from Listed Manufacturing Companies in Vietnam" Conducted by the student group: Trần Thị Kim Nhung (Student ID: 22000403), Nguyễn Thị Thu Ánh (Student ID: 22000339), and Trần Thị Ngọc Tươi (Student ID: 22000326).

Both projects were supervised by Dr. Lê Thị Mỹ Hạnh, whose expertise and guidance played a significant role in their success.

To recognize the students' contributions and excellent achievements, the University Board of Rectors awarded certificates of merit and a total cash prize of 3,000,000 VND for the two projects. This timely encouragement reflects the well-deserved recognition from both the Faculty and the University for the students’ academic efforts and research dedication.

This achievement is not only a personal milestone for the students but also a strong testament to the quality of education and academic environment at the Faculty of Accounting. These awards continue to affirm the Faculty’s position in training a new generation of talented individuals ready to contribute to the future development of the accounting field.
