100% of Student Research Projects in Accounting Faculty Successfully Defended at Faculty-Level Review 2024–2025
On June 13, 2025, the Faculty of Accounting at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) successfully held the Faculty-level Student Scientific Research Project Review for the academic year 2024–2025. The event took place in an atmosphere that was both academically rigorous and inspiring, drawing strong interest from lecturers and students alike.
This year, 16 student research groups presented and defended their projects before the Review Council. Remarkably, all 16 projects were officially approved, achieving a 100% success rate. This outstanding result reflects the students’ thorough preparation, creative approaches, and relentless effort, as well as the dedicated guidance of faculty supervisors.
Notably, the Review Council selected the 10 most outstanding projects to advance to the University-level Review. These groups were requested to refine their reports based on academic feedback and submit final versions by 1:30 PM on June 16, 2025. For the remaining groups, completing their research and being recognized at the Faculty level already stands as clear evidence of their academic capability and maturity gained through a serious research process.
Student scientific research activities have long been regarded as a “cradle” for Accounting students to cultivate critical thinking, teamwork skills, academic presentation, and debate abilities. More importantly, these activities serve as essential preparation, equipping students with a solid foundation for future professional practice and advanced research.
Speaking at the review session, representatives of the Faculty of Accounting commended the students’ seriousness, creativity, and academic determination. This achievement not only motivates students to continue striving for greater academic success but also reaffirms the Faculty’s reputation in training and research within Vietnam’s higher education landscape.
The Faculty of Accounting encourages all students to actively participate in research activities in the coming years, considering them as journeys of exploration and self-affirmation while contributing to the advancement of knowledge and society.
