Cultural exchange event 2024: A Memorable Day for International Students
On May 11th, the Faculty of Accounting at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) successfully organized the "Cultural Exchange Event" in the B Hall of the B Building. This event not only provided an opportunity for international students from Laos, Indonesia, Korea, and Myanmar to gain a deeper understanding of Vietnamese culture but also allowed them to experience the warmth and hospitality of the students and the Faculty of Accounting.
The event began with a grand reception in the main hall, where international students were greeted with the radiant smiles of the Accounting faculty students. Following that, an introduction to Ton Duc Thang University and the Faculty of Accounting helped everyone learn more about TDTU's educational mission and its outstanding achievements.
One of the highlights of the program was the Campus tour, with the TDTU library being the main stop. This is one of the most modern libraries in Vietnam, inspiring the value of lifelong learning. Through each bookshelf and quiet space, international students not only explored a space of knowledge but also the spirit of continuous effort and striving of TDTU students.
In addition to teabreak and teambuilding activities, which created opportunities for students from different countries to share cultures and connect in a friendly and lively atmosphere, the exchange games and quizzes brought many laughs and unforgettable memories.
The feedback from international students was extremely positive. They shared that this was a truly interesting and beneficial experience, helping them not only understand more about Vietnamese culture but also broaden their perspectives on other cultures. "This is one of the best cultural events I have ever participated in," shared a student from Indonesia.
The event was not only a success in terms of organization but also a testament to the continuous efforts of the Faculty of Accounting at Ton Duc Thang University in building a diverse, multicultural, internationally integrated, and mutually learning community.
