Parent Meeting for the 2024 High-Quality Bachelor of Accounting Program: Together for the Future of Our Students
The parent meeting for the High-Quality Bachelor of Accounting program, held on October 19, 2024, in Room 403 at Ton Duc Thang University, was a great success, with many parents and representatives from the university and international partners in attendance. This event served as an important opportunity for families and the university to discuss comprehensive development plans, ensuring that students not only master specialized knowledge but also acquire the essential skills to thrive in today’s competitive global environment.
A highlight of the program is the close integration with prestigious professional certifications like ICAEW and CFAB, which give students a significant competitive edge when entering the international job market. Representatives from ICAEW provided valuable insights into the importance of these certifications, emphasizing that they not only establish a strong knowledge foundation but also open doors to global integration for students.
In particular, the Faculty of Accounting is committed to investing in the future of its students through valuable scholarship programs. This year, 15 scholarships were announced, supporting students who wish to transition from the high-quality program to international affiliate classes, thereby fulfilling their dreams of studying abroad and opening up the opportunity to earn dual degrees from TDTU and renowned foreign universities. These initiatives are invaluable stepping stones for students to become confident, successful global citizens.
The meeting concluded with an open discussion where parents’ questions about the program and student development policies were addressed. This event reaffirmed the Faculty of Accounting's strong commitment to working hand-in-hand with families to create a modern, innovative learning environment that nurtures and develops young talents, preparing them to reach new heights in their future careers on a global stage.
