Conference to launch the Scientific research movement for students of the Faculty of Accounting for the 2023-2024 school year

On October 30, 2023, the Faculty of Accounting at Ton Duc Thang University became the focal point for one of the most anticipated events of the academic year 2023 - 2024: The Launch Conference for the Student Scientific Research Movement. Held in room A403 at the Tan Phong campus, the event was not just a convergence of young intellectuals passionate about research in Accounting and Auditing, but also an endless source of inspiration for students.

The conference witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of students, along with heartfelt sharing from leading lecturers. The Deputy Head of the Accounting Faculty, Mr. Nguyen Duy Suu, and Mr. Phan Hoai Vu, Deputy Head of RD team 1, opened the event with insightful advice, highlighting the direction and common pitfalls in the research process. They emphasized the importance of passion, diligence, and the relentless pursuit of knowledge.

A special highlight of the conference was the sharing from Van Thi Ngoc Tram, the student who won first prize in the School-level Student Scientific Research Competition 2022-2023. Ngoc Tram's story was not only a source of inspiration for everyone but also a testament to the undeniable power of encouragement and support from teachers.

The discussion and exchange session was lively, with numerous questions posed not only to the lecturers but also to the prize-winning student groups, creating a stimulating academic atmosphere.

Concluding the event, Dr. Le Thi My Hanh, Head of the Accounting Faculty, infused the conference with fresh energy through rapid and interesting questions, thereby clarifying the benefits and values of scientific research. She also stressed that success is not an easy journey but requires significant effort and continuous striving.

With 6 student scientific research projects approved at both Faculty and University levels in the academic year 2022-2023, including 5 winning projects at the University level and 3 projects competing in Eureka 2023, the Accounting Department has truly made a remarkable turn. We move towards the new academic year 2023-2024 with faith and determination, aiming to continue and exceed the successes already achieved.
