Academic Activity on the Topic “Effects of Environmental Strategy, Environmental Uncertainty and Top Management's Commitment on Corporate Environmental Performance: The Role of Environmental Management Accounting”

On March 25, 2024, the Accounting Department organized a Journal Club academic activity. This annual event serves as a meaningful activity for the faculty, not only deepening their understanding of research specialties but also supporting teaching activities and enhancing professional skills.

The objective of the Journal Club of the Accounting Department at Ton Duc Thang University is to share scientific research knowledge through presentations on high-quality ISI/Scopus-ranked journal articles. These sessions aim to improve the faculty's research capabilities, sharing knowledge and experience to build a strong research community within the Accounting Department specifically, and the university in general.

The session on March 25 focused on the topic “Effects of Environmental Strategy, Environmental Uncertainty, and Top Management's Commitment on Corporate Environmental Performance: The Role of Environmental Management Accounting.” The article discusses solutions for improving environmental efficiency through the role of environmental management accounting, a timely subject as both Vietnam and the world emphasize environmental improvements. Presented by Dr. Tran Thi Thu, the highlights of the research contribute to supporting faculty in identifying future research gaps related to accounting practices. Additionally, Dr. Thu shared modern research techniques used in the study, such as PLS-SEM, Bibliometric, etc., contributing to the improvement of research quality.
