The signing ceremony of cooperation between Ton Duc Thang University and the Viet Nam Association certified public accountants

On September 28, 2023, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) and the Vietnam Association Certified Public Accountants (VACPA) organized a signing ceremony to formalize their cooperation agreement for the period 2023-2028.

Attending the signing ceremony, on behalf of the Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants (VACPA) were Dr. Tran Khanh Lam - Vice Chairman cum General Secretary of VACPA, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sang - Member of the Executive Committee of VACPA, and Ms. Le Thi Bich Hai - Deputy Head of VACPA Office - Member of the Executive Committee of VACPA.

Representing TDTU were Dr. Vo Hoang Duy - Vice Rector, representing the University Leadership Board, Mr. Tang Khac Quy - Director of Center of Enterprise Cooperation and Alumni of TDTU, Dr. Le Thi My Hanh - Head of the Accounting Department, along with all faculty members and students of the Accounting Department who attended to witness the signing ceremony.

During the discussions, Dr. Tran Khanh Lam - Vice Chairman cum General Secretary of VACPA, emphasized the friendly bond between the Department and the Association. He referred to TDTU's pioneering model and highlighted the importance of presenting innovative ideas and committing to support technology and creativity competitions for the accounting industry.

Addressing the program, Dr. Vo Hoang Duy, representing the University's Board of Management, praised VACPA's contributions and achievements in the cooperation between VACPA and Ton Duc Thang University in general, and the Accounting Department in particular, over the past time. The re-signing of this cooperation agreement will further enhance the cooperation between VACPA and TDTU, thereby creating favorable conditions for promoting research and training activities between the two sides, as well as actively supporting technology and creativity competitions for the accounting industry.

The signing of the MOU between TDTU and VACPA has opened up a promising future for the training and development of auditors. The cooperation will create attractive opportunities for students, providing specialized knowledge and practical experiences, while also enhancing the quality of education and professional standards in the auditing industry.

The signing ceremony on September 28, 2023 marked the comprehensive re-signing of the cooperation agreement between the two parties for the period 2023-2028. This is a significant step in building a sustainable collaborative relationship between TDTU and VACPA, contributing to the development of the auditing industry at Ton Duc Thang University.
