Meeting with students (intake 2016) for the upcoming internship semester
On 11 November 2019, TDTU Faculty of Accounting organized a meeting with the purpose of assisting senior students in preparing their internship placement, which takes place in the upcoming semester. Representing the faculty were Dr. Le Thi My Hanh (Dean), Ms. Tran Do Thuy Linh (Assistant Dean), faculty’s lecturers and staff, together with the presence of more than 200 accountancy students. In addition, the faculty had invited 04 guest speakers: Dr. Thi Ngoc Bao Dung (Assistant Dean of Graduated Studies), representatives from Crowe Vietnam Ltd.: Mr. Tran Tan Phat (Audit Director), Mr. Vu Dinh Thiem (Audit Manager) and Ms. Ngo Thi Hoai Anh (HR & Recruitment Manager).
Initially, Dean Le Thi My Hanh had a short speech to begin the meeting. Afterwards, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhien (academic affairs staff) informed students about the requirements, related issues and the application process for Internship and Graduation Thesis modules. Subsequently, Dr. Thi Ngoc Bao Dung informed students with the benefits and requirements when enrolling the “4 + 1” Master Program at TDTU.
In a session designated to the industrial partner, Ms. Ngo Thi Hoai Anh introduced about Crowe Vietnam company, the internship recruitment at Crowe, expectations for an intern, and how to write an impressive CV. Furthermore, Mr. Tran Tan Phat and Mr. Vu Dinh Thiem also shared their valuable experiences and lessons for the intern-to-be.
At the end of the meeting, many questions from students regarding the upcoming internship were answered. The meeting concluded with positive outlook of senior students on preparing for the first step in their career path.
