🎓 Faculty of Accounting, Ton Duc Thang university, Participates and Presents at Two International Conferences at Airlangga University, Indonesia
From June 2 to 4, 2025, the Accounting Faculty of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) participated and presented at two prestigious international conferences held in Surabaya, Indonesia: The 12th International KRA Conference 2025 and The 9th International Conference in Economics and Business (ICEB) 2025. These events were co-hosted by the Faculty of Economics and Business – Airlangga University (UNAIR), in collaboration with the Indonesian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (IAI).
Airlangga University currently ranks #308 in the QS World University Rankings, affirming its strong academic presence both regionally and globally. The conferences brought together leading scholars, researchers, and professionals from countries such as Australia, the UK, Taiwan, the Netherlands, and across Southeast Asia, providing a dynamic and interdisciplinary platform for academic exchange.
TDTU’s Accounting Faculty was represented by two delegates:
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi My Hanh – Dean of the Faculty of Accounting
- Mr. Dang Le Tran Vu, M.A. – Lecturer, Faculty of Accounting
At Thematic Session 2 of the KRA Conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi My Hanh delivered a presentation titled:
“ESG x CG x AI: Unlocking Sustainable Impact in Vietnam and Beyond”
Her presentation emphasized the interconnection between corporate governance (CG), environmental–social–governance (ESG) strategies, and artificial intelligence (AI) applications in the context of Vietnamese enterprises. The discussion attracted significant attention from international participants, particularly concerning the ethical and responsible use of AI in corporate practices and academic research.
Strengthening Academic Visibility and Expanding Regional Collaboration Networks
This academic mission marks a significant step in enhancing the international cooperation of the Accounting Faculty, contributing to the strategic goal of expanding TDTU’s academic footprint within the ASEAN region. Through active participation in international conferences, TDTU aims to foster stronger institutional connections with potential partners in Southeast Asia, particularly in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand.
The presentations, dialogues, and partnership proposals laid the groundwork for future academic endeavors, such as joint conferences, faculty and student exchanges, and collaborative research projects. These efforts align with TDTU’s long-term vision of becoming a high-impact, globally engaged institution in research and education.
