Accounting students attending the 2019 "ICAEW Celebrating Excellence"

On 2 October 2019, the graduation ceremony for outstanding students from top universities in Sounthern Vietnam who completed the Certificate in Finance, Accounting & Business (ICAEW CFAB) took place at Caravelle Hotel. 2019 was the second year ICAEW organized such event after 4 years of operation in the country. In this occasion, Faculty of Accounting/Ton Duc Thang University celebrated the first batch of four accountancy students receiving the CFAB certification. Students who earned ICAEW CFAB, a worldwide recognized certificate, would be ready to join the team of high-quality professionals contributing to the development of Vietnam's economy.
At the event, Mr. Mark Billington, ICAEW Regional Manager for Southeast Asia and Greater China, expressed: “ICAEW is currently cooperating to integrate the modules of the ICAEW CFAB into training curriculum at top universities in Vietnam. We are also working with more than 5,000 employers around the world and they highly appreciate the candidates possessing CFAB certificate. It is a wonderful opportunity that this certificate offers young Vietnamese graduates a better pathway to develop their careers. With CFAB certification, you can work for many multinational companies domestically, regionally and globally. I think Vietnam is a successful story for ICAEW, and vice-versa ICAEW is very happy to contribute to the development of the country's financial and accounting industry”.
