Undergraduate Thesis Defense – April 2023 Session

On April 13, 2023, the Faculty of Accounting organized four Thesis Defense Councils for the April 2023 session, dedicated to cohort 18 of the High-Quality Program. The councils were attended by Dr. Lê Thị Mỹ Hạnh – Dean of the Faculty of Accounting; Mr. Phan Hoài Vũ, MSc.; Mr. Lê Viết Dũng Linh, MSc.; Ms. Nguyễn Thị Kim Tuyến, MSc.; Ms. Nguyễn Thị Thanh Hương, MSc.; Ms. Trần Đỗ Thùy Linh, MSc.; Mr. Ngô Tấn Lâm Hà, MSc.; Mr. Phạm Đình Ân, MSc.; and Mr. Trần Tấn Phát, along with students of the 2018 intake who had completed their studies and presented their theses before the councils.

The thesis defenses were conducted in a serious and formal atmosphere. Each report was objectively and fairly evaluated by the councils based on clear criteria, including content, structure, and presentation style. The results accurately reflected each student’s knowledge, research ability, and academic efforts throughout their four years of study.

During the defense, students demonstrated confidence and fluent English presentation skills, successfully delivering their reports and actively engaging with the evaluators’ feedback. Through the insightful comments from lecturers, students were able to identify both strengths and limitations in their theses and internship experiences, helping them refine their knowledge and prepare more effectively for their future careers.

Successfully completing the undergraduate thesis defense marked a significant milestone for cohort 18 students. It was not only the culmination of their academic journey but also an important opportunity for the Faculty of Accounting to assess the effectiveness of its training programs and the dedication of its teaching staff.

The April 2023 Thesis Defense for the Faculty of Accounting concluded successfully and meaningfully, filled with joy and emotion. Smiles and heartfelt gratitude filled the room as four students — Võ Trần Chung, Trần Thị Thủy Tiên, Dương Ngọc Hân, and Lê Ngọc Hân — were honored by the Faculty for their outstanding performance. The students’ words of appreciation to their lecturers and council members expressed deep gratitude and pride, symbolizing a touching farewell and a hopeful beginning:

“Every effort will bear fruit — we will always remember the joyful and enriching years of study and growth at Ton Duc Thang University.”
