Ton Duc Thang University signs cooperation agreement with Vietnam Public Joint Stock Commercial Bank (PVcomBank)

On December 19, 2024, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized the signing ceremony of a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Vietnam Public Joint Stock Commercial Bank (PVcomBank).

Attending the signing ceremony, on the side of PVcomBank, were Ms. Nguyễn Thúy Hạnh – Deputy CEO of PVcomBank; Mr. Nguyễn Thành Công – Regional Director of Northern Ho Chi Minh City and Southeast Region, along with representatives of several departments and branches of PVcomBank. On the side of TDTU, there were Dr. Võ Hoàng Duy – Vice President, along with representatives from departments, offices, faculties, and units of TDTU.

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Võ Hoàng Duy – Vice President of TDTU expressed his delight at the opportunity to cooperate with PVcomBank and hoped that both sides would promote the strengths and potentials of each party in the cooperation process. With multiple campuses across the country, TDTU leadership also hopes that the cooperation will expand beyond Ho Chi Minh City.

In response, Ms. Nguyễn Thúy Hạnh – Deputy CEO of PVcomBank, also aimed to build a substantive, valuable, and meaningful cooperation relationship that brings benefits to both sides. PVcomBank representatives expressed their impression of TDTU’s modern, synchronized facilities, high-quality training programs, and student discipline and learning attitude, which meet enterprise requirements.

At the meeting, both parties signed a cooperation agreement in the following areas: training, scientific research, human resource development, organizing seminars and workshops, career counseling, scholarship sponsorship for students, and other fields of mutual interest.

In its external relations and partnerships, PVcomBank particularly focuses on the fields of social welfare, healthcare, and education. The bank has signed comprehensive cooperation agreements and invested in infrastructure for many universities nationwide. Recently, PVcomBank has actively coordinated and supported TDTU in training activities, sharing and consulting on skills and careers for students, organizing field trips, supporting internship modules, awarding scholarships, and offering suitable job opportunities to students.
