Thesis Defense Committees – August 2023

On August 24–25, 2023, the Faculty of Accounting successfully organized seven Thesis Defense Committees for the August 2023 session, including six for the High-Quality Program and one for the Standard Program. The committees featured the participation of esteemed faculty members: Dr. Le Thi My Hanh – Head of the Faculty of Accounting; Dr. Nguyen Duy Suu – Deputy Head of the Faculty; Mr. Phan Hoai Vu, MSc; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sang, MSc; Mr. Le Viet Dung Linh, MSc; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong, MSc; Ms. Pham Tu Anh, MSc; Ms. Vu Thi Binh Nguyen, MSc; Mr. Phung The Vinh, MSc; Mr. Ngo Tan Lam Ha, MSc; Ms. Bui Thi Bich Lien, MSc; and Ms. Lam Thi Hoang Hoanh, MSc.

After years of dedicated study and research, the students selected for thesis defense had the opportunity to demonstrate their academic capabilities, research competence, confidence, and presentation skills before the committees.

The evaluation process was carried out in a detailed, fair, and objective manner based on content, structure, and presentation style — serving as an affirmation of the students’ academic achievements and research efforts. The results were announced immediately after each defense session, bringing moments of joy and surprise to all participants.

The August 2023 thesis defense session for the 2019 cohort concluded with a sense of fulfillment and pride. Among the seven committees, eight outstanding students — Trong Nghia, Kim Ngan, Nhu Ngoc, Kim Yen, Minh Thanh, Quoc Vinh, Hoai Phuong, and Hong Tuoi — were honored with Certificates of Merit and awards from the Faculty of Accounting for their exceptional performance and excellent results.

During the closing remarks, faculty members shared heartfelt words of encouragement:
“After completing your thesis defense today, you have officially concluded your undergraduate journey. Take a moment to express gratitude to your parents and families for their support, and to your lecturers for their guidance and dedication. Continue your pursuit of lifelong learning — education has no limits. Strive to acquire new knowledge, uphold integrity, and confidently step into society as knowledgeable and ethical citizens. We also hope you will stay connected with the Faculty of Accounting, returning to inspire and support future generations through your own success stories.”

The message was met with enthusiastic applause, symbolizing the students’ heartfelt appreciation and their promise to carry forward the Faculty’s values.
