Student Dialogue – Discovering Personal Potential in Accounting and Auditing

With the aim of helping fourth-year students gain a deeper understanding of specialized areas in accounting and auditing, as well as greater self-awareness in choosing their professional paths, the Faculty of Accounting at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) collaborated with A&C Auditing and Consulting Co., Ltd. to organize a dialogue session titled: “Discovering Personal Potential in Accounting and Auditing.”

The event took place at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, in room C411, with the presence of representatives from A&C Auditing and Consulting Co., Ltd. including Mr. Châu Thành Tài – Head of Training and Information System Consulting, Ms. Bùi Thị Tỉnh – Deputy Head of Human Resources and Recruitment, and Ms. Lê Thị Ngọc Trầm – Human Resources Officer.
Representing the Faculty of Accounting were MSc. Nguyễn Thị Thanh Hương – Head of the Business Relations and Alumni Committee, MSc. Đồng Quang Chung, and MSc. Bùi Thị Bích Liên, along with nearly 200 fourth-year students.

During the session, Mr. Châu Thành Tài shared in-depth insights into the accounting and auditing profession — including requirements, work content, and development opportunities in areas such as internal auditing, financial statement auditing, IT auditing, construction investment auditing, as well as tax consulting, legal advisory, risk management, and system administration.
These valuable insights helped students gain a clearer understanding of their own potential and suitability for different career paths, enabling them to make informed and confident career choices.

To support students interested in joining A&C, Ms. Bùi Thị Tỉnh, Deputy Head of HR and Recruitment, provided detailed information about the company’s recruitment programs, including application timelines, available positions, and candidate requirements, equipping students with the confidence to apply successfully.

Additionally, students were given the opportunity to apply online for internship positions at A&C through a QR code registration system.

The dialogue took place in a friendly and engaging atmosphere. Students’ questions and concerns were warmly addressed by company representatives, and their practical advice became valuable takeaways for students’ future careers.

At the end of the event, MSc. Nguyễn Thị Thanh Hương, representing the Faculty of Accounting, presented flowers to express gratitude to the guest speakers from A&C Auditing and Consulting Co., Ltd.
The session not only helped students build greater confidence in defining their professional goals but also inspired them to plan effectively for their future in the accounting and auditing field. The Faculty of Accounting wishes all students continued success and good fortune in their upcoming career endeavors.
