New Academic Year Student Gathering 2022–2023

"Oh autumn, the season
That builds our dreams…"

The gentle melody welcoming autumn—the season of fragrant Hanoi milk flowers and the vibrant return to school—marked the beginning of a new academic year. To celebrate this joyful occasion, the Faculty of Accounting, Ton Duc Thang University, organized the “New Academic Year Student Gathering 2022–2023”.

The event took place at 7:30 a.m. on August 18, 2022, in Hall 2A, with the presence of Ms. Trần Phạm Mai Anh – HR Director of A&C, Mr. Châu Thành Tài – Head of Training and Development at A&C, Ms. Nguyễn Hà Thục Chi – TDTU alumna and Internal Audit & Risk Management Consultant at A&C, Dr. Lê Thị Mỹ Hạnh – Head of the Faculty of Accounting, along with the faculty’s lecturers. Most notably, nearly 1,000 Accounting students attended to listen to valuable sharing from business representatives and lecturers at the start of the new school year.

The gathering was filled with enthusiasm and positive energy, bringing together lecturers, guests, and students from courses K23, K24, and K25. Through friendly exchanges, participants learned from each other and shared experiences on their journey to becoming future accountants and auditors. Accounting, as it turns out, is not as rigid and dry as often perceived—it is a dynamic, evolving field that keeps pace with modern technology.

During the event, students also received valuable insights into career opportunities in accounting, finance, and auditing shared by Mr. Châu Thành Tài. Following that, Dr. Lê Thị Mỹ Hạnh offered heartfelt advice and encouragement, especially to third- and fourth-year students, reminding them of the effort and perseverance needed to achieve success.

For every student, continuous learning and long-term growth form the stepping stones to success. Accounting is not just a discipline—it is a passion for exploration and lifelong learning.

The New Academic Year Student Gathering 2022–2023 concluded successfully, thanks to the enthusiasm and dedication of business partners, lecturers, and the eager participation of students. The Faculty of Accounting hopes that this event helped answer students’ questions and inspired greater confidence and determination for the journey ahead.
