The KPMG S.T.A.R Collaboration Signing Ceremony among TDTU Accounting Faculty, ICAEW, and KPMG Vietnam

On September 22, 2023, the Faculty of Accounting of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), and KPMG Vietnam Co., Ltd. held a tripartite signing ceremony for the KPMG S.T.A.R. Program. The collaboration aims to elevate the partnership to a new level, offering outstanding advantages and exclusive benefits for students enrolled in the integrated CFAB program at Ton Duc Thang University.

Representing TDTU were Dr. Le Thi My Hanh – Head of the Faculty of Accounting, Dr. Nguyen Duy Suu – Deputy Head of the Faculty of Accounting, along with faculty members from the department.

From ICAEW, the event welcomed Mr. Nguyen Duc Nghia – Head of Education Market Development, and Ms. Huynh Van Thanh – Head of Business Market Development.

From KPMG Vietnam, attendees included Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hang – Human Resources Director, Mr. Joseph Vu – Head of Transfer Pricing Advisory Services, Ms. Le Nguyen Thuy Mai – Head of Senior Human Resources, and Mr. Pham Ngoc Hung – Human Resources Team Leader.

The discussion at the ceremony centered on implementing initiatives to develop high-quality human resources and create career opportunities for young professionals aspiring to build and advance their careers in accounting and auditing. The “KPMG–ICAEW S.T.A.R Program” will provide international-standard career development opportunities for hundreds of talented students as early as the completion of their second academic year.

With this enhanced collaboration among the three parties, the agreement is expected to bring even more opportunities and distinctive advantages for students pursuing the integrated program at Ton Duc Thang University.
