ICAEW Vietnam Hosts 2023 Graduation Ceremony

On the evening of Wednesday, October 25, 2023, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) held the 2023 Graduation Ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City to award the Chartered Accountant (ICAEW ACA) qualification, the ICAEW Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (CFAB), and the ICAEW Business and Finance Professional (BFP) designation to new members and graduates.

The ceremony was attended by representatives from the British Chamber of Commerce (BritCham), major accounting and auditing firms such as PwC, BDO, and Deloitte, as well as lecturers from universities in Ho Chi Minh City that have integrated the ICAEW program into their curriculum, including Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), and University of Economics and Law (UEL).

This marked the sixth ICAEW Graduation Ceremony held in Vietnam. On this occasion, six new members officially joined the global network of Chartered Accountants.

Additionally, the ceremony celebrated 13 graduates who successfully completed the ICAEW CFAB program in Ho Chi Minh City — among them, five students from the Faculty of Accounting, Ton Duc Thang University, proudly became ICAEW CFAB certificate holders.

At the same event, ICAEW also conferred the international BFP professional designation upon six professionals in Vietnam, bringing the total number of BFP holders in the country to only 30 to date.
