ICAEW Vietnam Business Challenge 2023

An exciting and rewarding competition has returned for students across Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi — the ICAEW Vietnam Business Challenge 2023 (IVBC 2023). This is not only a valuable academic playground but also a golden opportunity for TDTU students to learn, showcase their talents, and shine in front of top employers from the region, potentially earning attractive internship and career opportunities.

About the Competition

The ICAEW Vietnam Business Challenge 2023 (IVBC 2023) is a professional academic competition emphasizing teamwork and real-world business problem-solving. It provides Vietnamese students with the chance to participate in an international-level contest organized annually by ICAEW (The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales).

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Connect and exchange knowledge with students from leading universities in Vietnam.
  • Receive professional training in soft skills and business case-solving techniques.
  • Compete for individual and team prizes with a total value of up to VND 300,000,000.

Competition Format

The Faculty of Accounting at Ton Duc Thang University will select a team of six students to represent TDTU in the ICAEW Vietnam Business Challenge 2023 – Southern Region.

Key Dates

  • March 15–17, 2023: Application period (submission of CV and motivation letter).
  • March 17, 2023: Finalization of participant list.
  • April 1–8, 2023: Skill training sessions for participating teams (organized by ICAEW).
  • May 5, 2023: National Final and Award Ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City.

ICAEW will then organize the National Round, selecting two outstanding teams from the Northern and Southern regions of Vietnam to represent the country at the ICAEW China and South-East Asia Business Challenge 2023, held on May 13, 2023, in Ho Chi Minh City.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Students with strong teamwork, presentation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Priority for students with good academic performance and English proficiency.
  • Priority for students who have previously competed and achieved recognition in similar competitions.
  • Preference for students currently enrolled in ICAEW programs.
