Highlights from the Grand Finale of THE CA CONTEST 2024

On April 12, 2024, the Faculty of Accounting at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) hosted The CA Contest 2024 – an academic competition in accounting, auditing, and finance – at Building 10F, Tan Phong Campus, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. The event attracted over 200 enthusiastic students, judges from the Faculty of Accounting, and distinguished representatives from sponsoring companies such as KPMG and Smart Train. The contest took place in a lively and competitive atmosphere, filled with the cheers of the audience. The Faculty successfully delivered a meaningful and intellectually engaging competition, offering participants valuable insights into the fields of accounting, auditing, and finance.

Honored Guests and Sponsors

The Organizing Committee was honored to welcome many distinguished guests and representatives from partner companies.

The event also welcomed Mr. Tran Minh Tinh – Top 6 contestant of The CA Contest 2022, and Mr. Phan Bao Phuc – Communication Ambassador of The CA Contest 2024.

A Musical Highlight – Performance by Singer Czee

To energize the atmosphere, the event featured a performance by Czee, the singer behind the hit “Đâu ai dám hứa”, which has garnered nearly 12 million views and widespread acclaim across social media platforms. His warm voice brought excitement and inspiration to the evening.

Competition Rounds – Talent and Dedication on Display

The first round challenged contestants with case study problems provided by the organizers. Competitors showcased their logical reasoning and subject expertise to present well-founded and persuasive arguments before the judges.

The top six contestants then advanced to the final round, where they engaged in a debate-style challenge, defending their viewpoints on thought-provoking questions such as “Which is more important: attitude or professional competence?” Each finalist demonstrated sharp reasoning and strong communication skills to convince the judges.

The Organizing Committee commended all participants for their enthusiasm and passion, which made the contest truly shine.

After a highly competitive finale, the three most outstanding contestants were revealed to great applause and celebration:

• Champion: Đỗ Thị Mỹ Hoa – Foreign Trade University (Campus 2)
• First Runner-up: Hồ Nguyễn Kim Khánh – Ton Duc Thang University
• Second Runner-up: Nguyễn Đăng Ánh Dương – Foreign Trade University (Campus 2)
