🎓 Faculty of Accounting, Ton Duc Thang University Presented at Two International Conferences at Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia

From June 2–4, 2025, the Faculty of Accounting – Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) participated and presented at two prestigious international academic conferences held in Surabaya, Indonesia:
➤ The 12th International KRA Conference 2025
➤ The 9th International Conference in Economics and Business (ICEB) 2025

These events were co-organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business – Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) in collaboration with the Institute of Indonesia Chartered Accountants (IAI). Notably, Universitas Airlangga is currently ranked #308 in the QS World University Rankings, highlighting its global academic prestige.

As annual academic conferences with a long-standing tradition in Indonesia, KRA and ICEB attracted researchers, lecturers, and academic experts from Australia, the UK, Taiwan, the Netherlands, Vietnam, and other countries. Representing TDTU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi My Hanh, Dean of the Faculty of Accounting, was invited as both a Keynote Speaker and Panel Speaker at KRA’s Panel Seminar Session 2 on June 2, 2025. The academic mission spanned from May 31 to June 5, 2025, including keynote sessions, in-depth panel discussions, and academic networking with international scholars and partners.

In the specialized panel discussion session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi My Hanh delivered a presentation titled:
“ESG x CG x AI: Unlocking Sustainable Impact in Vietnam and Beyond”.
The presentation explored the intersection between Environmental-Social-Governance (ESG), Corporate Governance (CG), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in driving sustainable business practices, particularly among small and medium-sized enterprises in Vietnam. It also highlighted real-world case studies from ASEAN and emphasized the importance of ethical and responsible AI use in both business and academic contexts.

This academic engagement marked a valuable milestone in fostering international collaboration between TDTU and Universitas Airlangga. Productive side discussions paved the way for future joint initiatives such as student exchange programs, faculty mobility, joint research projects, and bilateral conferences between the two institutions.
