Summer Camp 2024: Journey to connect Vietnamese and Thai Cultures

According to the academic year 2023-2024 plan, with the aim of organizing exchange programs and fostering cooperation between the Faculty of Accounting at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) and major universities worldwide, providing students with opportunities to experience, learn, and explore new cultures. The Faculty of Accounting organized a meaningful cultural exchange trip to Thailand.

The trip took place at the Faculty of Humanities, Srinakharinwirot University, featuring a variety of enriching and engaging activities. Associate Professor Dr. Anchalee Jansem, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, warmly welcomed the delegation of lecturers and student representatives from the Faculty of Accounting, Ton Duc Thang University. In her welcoming speech, Dr. Anchalee expressed her delight at hosting the guests and emphasized the importance of international cooperation and cultural exchange.

During the event, Lecturer Parinya Chimbanlang, Head of the Department of ASEAN Languages and Cultures, led the main exchange activities. Students from both universities had the opportunity to participate in insightful discussions on cross-cultural communication, exploring the differences and similarities between Thai and Vietnamese cultures. Additionally, students engaged in various interactive games and received meaningful gifts, creating a lively, vibrant, and connected atmosphere.

This trip not only allowed accounting students to experience Thai culture firsthand but also served as an occasion to bring Vietnamese culture closer to international friends. The cultural exchange activities helped broaden their horizons, enhance communication skills, and deepen their understanding of different cultures. Moreover, it strengthened the bonds between the two universities.

The event was not just an opportunity for students to learn and experience but also a significant step in the international integration journey of the Faculty of Accounting at Ton Duc Thang University. It demonstrated effective and sustainable cooperation between Ton Duc Thang University and Srinakharinwirot University, promising many future opportunities for collaboration and development.
