ESG Workshop Series: Professor Hoang Van Discusses ESG Strategy and Sustainable Value for Businesses

On November 8, 2024, the Faculty of Accounting at Ton Duc Thang University hosted the third session of the ESG online workshop series, titled: "ESG Strategy – Creating Sustainable Value for Businesses". The workshop featured Professor Hoang Van from Montpellier Business School (France), a leading expert in sustainable finance and co-chair of the Social & Sustainable Finance specialization.

During the session, Professor Hoang Van provided an insightful overview of the history of sustainable finance, the role of ESG in corporate strategy, and the importance of data and regulations in building sustainable value. Students were introduced to the latest global trends and practical applications of ESG, fostering awareness of social responsibility in business practices.

The Faculty of Accounting extends heartfelt gratitude to Professor Hoang Van and all participating students. Participants will receive an ESG certificate from ICAEW, affirming their efforts and competencies in this promising field.
