VACPA

In the afternoon of 16/05/2017, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held a signing ceremony of cooperation agreement with Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants (VACPA). The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Le Vinh Danh, the President of TDTU; leaders of faculties; Mr. Pham Sy Danh, the CEO of VACPA, Former Vice Minister of Finance; Mr. Vo Hung Tien, Vice President of VACPA and VACPA Board of Directors.

Based on the needs and capabilities, the two parties agreed to jointly implement activities to provide information, coordinate training and conduct scientific research. In particular, they focused on: providing documents related to national and international accounting and auditing; coordinating scientific research in the field of auditing and accounting including issues related to occupational management, standards and audit techniques; assisting TDTU’s students and trainees to access auditing firms; enhancing development and exploitation of consultancy, technology transfer and training activities for auditing enterprises; supporting the propaganda and promotion of occupations between the two organizations. The cooperation between the two sides will create a new turning point with many opportunities for students of Faculty of Accounting to have access to practical training programs that meet the needs of enterprises in general and auditing companies in particular.
