The presentation at the Opening Session, Professor Gordon Phillips, Keynote Speaker, emphasized the importance of corporate finance policy in competition. In addition to the plenary session, the other presentations will focus on macro issues of financial governance as well as specific issues of interest in Vietnam such as virtual currency, online payment and safety of online payment, personal and household finance, asset pricing, ...
At the conference, TDTU also introduced the database of Vietnamese corporate finance. This is a database developed by the Research and Academic Information Center (RAIC) of TDTU for scientific research purposes.
The FMA’s Asia/Pacific Conference is one of the International Association of Financial Management's annual conferences. Before Vietnam, countries selected by FMA to hold this event include Australia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Selected universities to host FMA conferences must have strong research capacity as evidenced by the number and quality of international publications, high internationalization and the experience of organizing major academic events.
