Auditing and Data Analysic Programs

  1. Program Introduction
    The Auditing program is designed according to international standards, emphasizing practical professional training for students throughout their studies. The courses are structured from basic to advanced levels, modern and scientific, closely aligned with the actual needs of businesses and the labor market. The content and teaching methods are continuously updated to encourage and develop students’ creativity. Students have opportunities to participate in international seminars and group work with international students to enhance their competencies, gain practical experience, and familiarize themselves with recruitment environments, helping them quickly adapt to real-world situations and be ready to manage construction projects immediately after graduation.

    Admissions are conducted in accordance with the specific regulations of Ton Duc Thang University and the general regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. Details: [here].
  3. Program Highlights
  • International standards: The program emphasizes practical work with real company and stock exchange data, including courses such as AI in Accounting and Auditing, Audit Analysis, Decision Making in Programming and Analysis, etc.
  • Research capabilities: Opportunities to attend international seminars, publish in international journals, and engage in academic exchanges with universities worldwide.
  • English proficiency: Most study materials are in English. Graduates are expected to reach at least an international B1 English certificate (equivalent to IELTS 5.0) and participate in activities with international students, such as the Summer Camp.
  • Professional exposure: Students engage with companies from the first year and throughout the four-year program via practical modules at enterprises.
  1. Internship and Graduation Requirements

4.1 Internship Eligibility:
To participate in internships, students must complete all required major courses (excluding elective major courses) and meet the minimum accumulated credit requirements for their program and cohort. Students may carry a maximum of 9 outstanding credits at the time of the internship (excluding internship and graduation credits).

4.2 Graduation Requirements:

  • Conditions: Completion of the internship module and, per English proficiency requirements, completion of the final-level English course (with passing marks).
  • Organization:
    • The top 15% of students in each cohort will complete a graduation thesis to fulfill graduation requirements.
    • The remaining 85% will take Professional Practice courses as organized by the faculty.
  • To be eligible for graduation, students must:

Accumulate credits and meet the program’s knowledge and skills requirements. Achieve the following outcomes:

    • International English certificate: IELTS 5.0 or TOEIC ≥ 500, or equivalent.
    • MOS computer certificate 750/1000 (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
    • Participation points from extracurricular activities.
    • Soft skills and professional practice competencies.
    • Successful defense of the graduation thesis or a score of 5.0 or above in Professional Practice courses.

    Graduates in Auditing and Data Analysis have opportunities to work in government agencies, enterprises, and domestic or international independent auditing firms. Especially, they may work in multinational corporations and international auditing companies in roles such as:
