Education forum in malaysia and collaborative opportunities with malaysian universities

From 26-28 September, the delegation of lecturers of Faculty of Accounting with the leader is Dr. Le Thi My Hanh, some department heads are: Dr. Tang Tri Hung, MSc. Phan Hoai Vu; and some lecturers came to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to attend Education Forum - ICAEW South East Asia. Also, we paid a visit and worked with University of Malaya and Sunway University.

In two days 26-27 September, the delegation participated in the main activities of the forum, we were listened to the speakers sharing experiences in CFAB teaching method, and how to evaluate students when teach these courses. CFAB was a program that could integrate into the curriculum of high quality program for undergraduate students. This is considered a plus point for students who want to practice and work in a professional environment with the certification issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW).

For the faculties, we learned a positive teaching methodology, design lecture skills how to attract students. We also had a chance to connect with the lecturers of the universities at home and abroad to find the collaboration in the near future.

In 28 September, ICAEW supported the delegation to pay a visit and discuss the collaboration with University of Malaya and Sunway University. This trip offers many opportunities for faculties and students to receive a scholarship in undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programs, joint training programs, as well as opportunities for Malaysian students to study and exchange culture at Faculty of Accounting.
