The collaboration with ICAEW for the MOU

n the morning 12th Oct 2016, Faculty of Accouting had a meeting with representatives of Insitutes of Charterred Accountant in England and Wales (ICAEW) about the discussion some collaboration programs to sign the MOU.

The participants include:

• From Ton Duc Thang University:

1. Dr. Tran Trong Dao - Vice President

2. Dr. Le Van Ut - Director of Department for Management of Science and Technology Development

3. Dr. Le Thi My Hanh - Dean of Faculty of Accounting

4. Dr. Tang Tri Hung - Head of Auditing department

5. MSc. Phan Hoai Vu - Head of Managerial Accounting department

6. MBA. Vu Hong Ngoc – Lecturer undertake the International Cooperation of faculty of Accounting

• From ICAEW:

1. Mr. Mark Billington – Director of ICAEW - South East Asia

2. Ms. Dang Thi Mai Trang – Head of ICAEW in Vietnam

3. Mr. Mai Duc Cuong – Executive of Market Development in HCM

Two sides discussed some contents in the MOU and listed the objectives of cooperation in the future, such as: putting the CFAB program into the curriculum of high quality class, supporting in training for lecturers of the Faculty, putting students to visit some large companies like Big Four, funding some activities of the Faculty, or deepening in research cooperation etc. Ms. Dang Thi Mai Trang - Head of ICAEW in Vietnam also summarizes some contents was performed with the Faculty in the academic year 2015-2016.
