Course Description

To provide students with an understanding of:

  • The theoretical basic for management information systems and accounting information systems
  • The concepts, components and operating mode of internal control systems;
  • The processes of accounting information systems;
  • Analyzing, designing and evaluating accounting information systems.

Course Outcomes

  • Understand the major processes in entities;
  • Apply the studied knowledge to design, organize and operate an appropriate accounting information system to each specific entity.

Evaluation/ Assessment

  • Turorial performance: 10%
  • Individual/ Group assignment: 20%
  • Mid-term exam: 20% (Case Study)
  • Final exam: 50% (Multiple choices, exercises, answer questions)
